Hello There

I figured it was probably time to start using this thing. I had previously primarily used Facebook and Instagram to communicate what was going on, but after some time, I realize that only using that platform shuts a number of people out from my updates. So, I figured I’d use a little more platform-agnostic way and just link to it from other platforms like Facebook, BlueSky, and LinkedIn. I’m working slowly to update this website to better reflect what it is I and TundraGeek Creations do. Stay tuned for more updates.

Here’s a brief update on this venture: TGC has grown quite a bit, in terms of item catalog and experience. I am continually trying out new designs every month and slowly trying new projects altogether. Some projects you see in the social media posts and store fronts; some projects aren’t shared yet. I’ve established TGC as a local vendor for craft shows/markets in the past year and a half. While they can be exhausting for a mostly introverted personality, the in-person markets are rewarding and fun in a number of ways. I truly enjoy the interactions with customers and market-goers that I have.

This was and is an outlet for me to exercise the more creative (as creative as I get, anyway) side of me. I got tired of pouring my entire identity into my career in IT and this seemed like a great path to follow. It balances the day job a little better and I feel like I get more of a well rounded experience from both.

In the future, I hope to provide more updates and share my thoughts on things in the embroidery space. My next update will be about a new product that was announced this week.
